Battleship Potemkin (Battleship Potyomkin) is a 1925 Soviet era silent film. It is considered one of the greatest and most influential movies of all time. In it Sergei Eisenstein depicts a mutiny aboard the titular ship, using innovative new filmmaking techniques, such as montage, that continues to influence filmmakers to this day.
Note: this is a silent movie with title cards in the original Russian. Captions have been uploaded that translate the title cards.
