Buck is used to a calm and comfortable life in Judge Miller’s home in sunny California, but a sudden abduction tears him away from his familiar world and carries him to the harsh North, where, at the height of the Gold Rush, every dog becomes part of a difficult struggle for survival. Finding himself in the Yukon of the 1890s, he goes from a spoiled house pet to a strong sled-team leader, learning to understand the laws of the snowy wilderness, trust people, and listen to his own nature. Meeting the lonely John Thornton becomes a new test for Buck and the beginning of a great journey, where danger, freedom, and devotion intertwine with the call of the wild world. This adventure drama based on Jack London’s novel combines a classic coming-of-age story, the atmosphere of a northern odyssey, and a touching bond between human and animal.
