I recognize that I might have a little bit of a problem…Okay, I have a shoe problem, specifically with Birkenstocks. In 1896, Konrad Birkenstock started to manufacture flexible footbeds. In 1932 Carl Birkenstock taught leading podiatrist the advantages of an arched foot bed. In the 90’s Birkenstock factories reduced their energy consumption by 90% . In 2016, Birkenstocks celebrated their 50th anniversary in the US. I think we should have a national Birkenstock day ??❤️
