How To Use Image Styles on Embedded Media In Drupal

Drupal content editors often ask for the ability to embed media into the body field using a CKEditor button. Of course, adding that button to the editor is easy, but you can’t apply an image style to it.

In this video, Rod shows you how to do just that. While it’s not a perfect solution (one doesn’t exist yet), it does what you need to implement as many images styles as you need on embedded media.

It’s worth noting that the Drupal community is working on this (https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/2061377#comment-11750152) but until it’s adopted into core, this is the best solution you have available.
