Digital Multimeter APPA 17A+15+CASEMultimeters are the most widely spread devices in the world. However, they have one big disadvantage. They can't measure heavy currents. Most multimeters measure currents up to 10-20 A. APPA 17A +15 is a set consisting of a "pencil" type multimeter and an attachment of current pincers. The base unit of APPA 17A can measure resistance as well as direct and alternating voltage. It can also "sound test" circuits. If the APPA 15 attachment is used, the multimeter turns into current pincers. Now it can take noncontact AC measurements at up to 300 A. The compact size and the design of the test probes allow making measurements using one hand. For example, let's measure the voltage on the circuit board of a device. To do so we connect the black COM probe to the total mass with the help of an alligator clip. The red probe (there are two of them) is connected to the sampled point. The readings are shown on the large LCD display. You can choose the measurement units using the switch and the blue auxiliary button.
