Using sets from between 1989 and 1992 (slight modifications of parts on the trading vessel!), the classic LEGO pirates, led by Captain Roger Redbeard go sailing on the 6825 Black Seas Barracuda in search of Governor Broadside's treasure, encounter the Imperial Trading Vessel, and fight Lieutenant de Martinet on 6265 Sabre Island.
