Expanding on DC Rebirth, and hopefully offering more answers, Doomsday Clock dives into how the Watchmen Universe invaded DC Comics, and issue #4 is no exception. By splitting it's time between the world of Watchmen in the past and Doomsday Clock in the future, we learn everything we can about Ronnie Long, the new Rorschach. His life with his family, the exposure to Ozymandias' monster, which broke him. The relationship he created with Mothman, from the original Watchmen series. Doomsday Clock #4 covers the important aspects of his life, right up until Saturn Girl breaks him out of Arkham Asylum, and gives the readers everything they need in order to understand the broken man behind the Rorschach mask. Geoff Johns and Gary Frank are doing some excellent work and refuse to buckle under the weight of the Watchmen legacy.
