The caramelised Canadian maple neck has a bound Laurel fretboard and block inlay markers, as well as a matching colour headstock, giving the instrument a very regal look indeed. But it’s not just eye-candy. The two Roswell JBA alnico 5 pickups retain note-definition and clarity, whether you are slapping away on some funky tunes, or picking to some brutal riffs. Other premium appointments like the graphite nut, Gotoh tuners, and a bridge with brass saddles, make sure tuning is never an issue. The best of both worlds! The MV-4PJ Gotoh combines the thunderous sound of a split-coil pickup with a single-coil pickup to deliver a package of powerful, bone-dry bass tones. Dialling in both pickups equally using the passive electronics gives you an extremely useable, all-round ‘scooped’ tone that sounds great in any genre! Move over to the bridge pickup for a tight and funky tone, or switch over the split-coil pickup for a warmer sound, or blend the two together! The bolt-on maple neck and 864 mm scale-length give it a snappy response, while the Gotoh tuners ensure rock solid tuning.
