Music of the Night (female Cover) Phantom of the Opera

Disclaimer - I don't have access to advanced audio editing software so what you see is what you get - this is all one recording, and so there are flaws that you wouldn't get in a studio version. Every singer in the world makes mistakes, it's just that normally we don't get to hear them.

So, Phantom is in my top three musicals of all time (not including Disney). There are other songs that I want to cover, but Music of the Night is the one that really moves me. I never really understood why Christine chose Raoul over the Phantom. This song on its own would be enough to woo me!

There are a couple of things in this recording I'm not happy with. I don't need to point 'em out, I'm sure you'll notice. The timing is a little off as well. I will re-record sometime soon and hopefully come up with something a little more coherent.

What I'm super proud of in this is that final sustain! I used to be a smoker, and I could never keep that note going for very long. I quite cigarettes two years ago, and now look at what I can do! I used to think that last note was actually impossible!

Anyway, thanks so much for visiting my channel! Please like my videos if you... well... like them!
