As usual, let's start with some details:

The PREDICT SOC is back and raring to go – extra heel padding and a closer fit to hold your foot in place, plus more breathable stretch knit to keep you cool. The ride is still smoother-than-smooth with Anatomical Decoupling for a natural foot movement, independent platforms for dynamic stability and EnergyCell+ cushioning for that bouncy feeling.
A custom stretch knit and soft heel padding cradle your foot as you run. Independent platforms on the outsole activate to stabilize your stride just when you need it, while Energy Cell+ cushioning adds that extra bounce.

Now, whenever I was making this review, these Salomon runners were still labeled as Salomon trail running shoes, however as the day of the upload, just like I predicted this label was changed to just being the Salomon road running shoes, which definitely makes sense.

Overall, I do like these Salomon Predict shoes. They are definitely one of the most comfortable running shoes that I have reviewed so far. They are very lightweight and have a very flexible outsole. Now, as the Salomon trail running shoes review goes, these will still be pretty decent on a light trail and you can definitely cover some distance considering the comfort level. But I would not recommend these for anything complicated that is trail related.
