Stratocaster Tremolo unit components and some of the problems with it #stratocaster #tremolo #fende

A video on remedies for common problems with components of Stratocaster tremolo units. If you own a high end Strat you probably won’t have to worry about the quality of the block. However the tremolo arm could be upgraded, but doesn’t have to be. I own American Standards that are just fine. On Custom Shop models one wouldn’t have to worry about either of course. On budget Strats however (MIM etc) these upgrades will significantly improve your instrument. For very little money. But the threading of blocks where the trem arm goes and the trem arm itself… is a re-occurring problem; even on higher end guitars. And understanding how the Strat trem unit works will help you be happier.
