Pokemon Heart Gold: How to Catch Raikou, Entei, and Suicune

Showing how to catch the legendary beasts, Raikou Entei, and Suicune in Pokemon Heart Gold

Same "multi-capture" video rules apply. I'll just give a brief explanation of how to catch each of the legendaries, starting with Entei.

To even begin encountering any of them however, you first have to visit the basement in the Brass Tower in Ecruteak City. Once they run off, Raikou and Entei will be catchable randomly in the wild as roaming Pokemon, whereas Suicune will need to be tracked down at specific locations in order to finally catch it.

Entei, as stated above, is a random encounter as a roaming Pokemon, and thus can be found on any route at any time. I caught mine on the route south of Ecruteak City. I highly recommend you bring a Mean Look, Areana Trap user or a Wobbuffet with you to catch them so it won't escape. Entei will be at level 40 with the moves Roar, Fire Spin, Stomp, and Flamethrower.

Raikou will also be able to be randomly encountered in any route at any time. I caught mine on the same route I caught Entei on (which is the easiest route to catch them at might I add). And as same for Entei, I recommend an Arena Trap user, Mean Look user, or Wobbufett to keep them in battle. And also like Entei, Raikou will be at level 40 with the moves Roar, Quick Attack, Spark, and Reflect.

Suicune as I said before is a bit different. Instead of being random in the wild, you'll need to go to specific locations to trigger it to move eventually to the final area you'll be able to catch it. These areas are, in order, North of Cianwood City (after a battle), near the entrance to mt Mortar on route 42, Vermillion City in Kanto, Route 14, and then finally next to Bill's house north of Cerulean City where you'll finally be able to catch it. It will be at level 40 like the others with the moveset, Bubblebeam, Gust, Aurora Beam, and Mist.
