Circuit - Novation Circuit

I thought we would give the Circuit a run this week. I was playing with it when I discovered it sent everything I created out by the USB cable as Midi! So I used that stream of data to fire off some customer samples in Logic X’s sampler I created and this is what came out.

I’ll explore this more in the coming weeks, but here is a quick noodle I put together this morning. I might also make some custom sound packs for it if anyone is interested ? Please let me know!

When the Circuit first was released it seemed like a basic Rompler/Groove box. At the time the sounds it came with were what you had to create music from, nothing more. Since then Novation have done an amazing job taking it from the initial starting point to opening up the 2 full 6 voice dual oscillator synth engines and allowing the Drum side to be used for up to 60 seconds of custom sample playback!
