BMW GS Safari 2016 - Beaches and Mountains

This year’s Australian GS Safari takes the Riders from the Gold Coast in Queensland across the Great Dividing Range and finally finishing 5 days later at Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. This was a tough event as a result of high temperatures and difficult riding conditions.
The 180 Riders experienced varying terrain including good unsealed roads, minor twin track, single track and even a mountain bike track as it went thru towns including Toowoomba, Tenterfield, Kingaroy and Rainbow Beach. Not all the riders finished but that is typical of these types of events when some riders unexpectedly injure themselves or damage their bikes.
