During this time he was really apprehensive about his decision as a food technologist to join a bank and what after-effects will it have in long run. However, his calling was somewhere else where he would be more close to food technology and directly apply those concepts in his job. After spending a year in banking he made up his mind to apply for various Food Safety Officer jobs and finally settled for FSO at Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
