When his wife Linda leaves, Chris is left alone with his young son Christopher and is forced to balance caring for the child, constantly searching for a place to sleep, and an unpaid internship at a brokerage firm where only one candidate will be offered a job. Every day becomes a test of dignity, endurance, and faith in a future that seems almost unreachable. This biographical drama, based on the story of Chris Gardner, turns a journey from despair to hope into a touching tale of parental love, perseverance, and a person’s right to fight for a better life.
