Soundcraft Spirit FX16 Power Supply (PSU - HB0166) Alternative

If you have a Soundcraft Spirit FX16 with a broken or lost PSU (P/N HB0166), don't trash the mixer! This is a test of an alternative PSU (P/N PA-30) made by Yamaha. A connector swap and some soldering is all it takes.
Some background info:
Due to some "intermittency" and a lost PSU, this Soundcraft Spirit FX16 was about to go into the trash several years ago; but luckily it was given to me. Was hoping to DIY the OEM HB0166 PSU from schematics, but never had the time. Several weeks ago, I came across a Yamaha MG166 mixing table, and found the PSU (PA-30) to be very close in specs to the HB0166. This video tests the PA-30s compatibility with the FX16 table.
Soundcraft HB0166 Output:
18.4V AC - 0V - 18.4V AC w/ 800mA
Yamaha PA-30 Output
18.0V AC - 0V - 18.0V AC w/ 1400mA
Really love the sweet sound of Soundcraft Tables. Especially these older models with the built-in Lexicon digital effects. Hoping this video might help somebody salvage a FX16 with a bad or lost FX16 PSU.
