ABOUT THE ARTIST: MOCHAKK

Rising up out of Brazil’s hotbed of formidable talent, Mochakk (Pedro Maia) is a meticulate producer and performer of house music, who infuses his art with traditional Brazilian music and skate and hip-hop culture.

He tells us: "This set has a name: Viagem a Sevilha ('voyage to Seville').
It’s an attempt to compile the feeling of missing home in this tug of war between a calling and a career unfolding and living my young days with my people in my home country.

The Plaza de España is one of the most spectacular monuments in Europe. Built in 1929 for the Ibero-American Exhibition in Seville, it is a unique palace-square square with a total surface area of 50,000 square meters. It is divided into three parts: a palace, a square, and a canal. Telling the story of Spain, this exceptional location is also known in the cinema industry, notably as the stage of some scenes of Star Wars’ second opus.
