In ancient times, there was an evil power called Goa. He claimed himself to be the king of the universe, accompanied by numerous numbers of space life forms. But soon he was sealed off by Magma, a sacred counterpart power of him. A long time has passed since then. In Japan, a mysterious group of aliens are active behind the scenes, enjoying prosperity, which means the day of Goa's resurrection is approaching. On the other hand, a newspaper reporter by the name of Atsushi Murakami is gradually involved in a global-scale incident together with his wife, Tomoko and his son, Mamoru. Finally, Magma, in the form of a golden gigantic god, resurrects from a long sleep, making an appearance in front of them.

Murakami finds a neg of a certain shrine kept in the locket, thinking it as a clue about Goa. On the other hand, his wife, Tomoko has a suspicious look in her eyes while Deputy Chief Kunisaki questions Mamoru about Goa. Just then Goa, destroyed and investigated, restarts in its own, going on a rampage.
