Here is the 5th episode of the intensive program on logic, reasoning, and probability. It will provide the solutions to the paradoxes from episode 4: Paradox 1: Gruyère; Paradox 2: "This sentence is false"; Paradox 3: The barber paradox; Paradox 4: "The imprudent traveler." The solution to a paradox depends on its nature, mainly consisting of analyzing the premises, redefining the terms, or rejecting an initial hypothesis. A paradox reveals an apparent contradiction that conceals a logical error, a trap in language, or a limitation of our thinking.
