Although Anki supports the breadth of HTML formatting for your cards, its default field formatting tools are rather limited. Add-ons like the Power Format Pack can greatly extend that toolset with items like lists, tables, and hyperlinks. This video demonstrates how to utilize this and other field formatting add-ons in Anki.
