Windows XP Welcome Music (title.wma)

In this video, we listen to the Windows XP Welcome Music also called “title.wma.” If you install Windows XP for the first time, or if you’re upgrading from a previous version of Windows, and go through the out of box experience, (if you had your sound drivers installed) you would hear this music. The song is called “Velkommen,” and it was composed, produced, and preformed by Stan LePard. The song was first used in the Internet Explorer Starter Kit in 1996, the “home” version of Windows 98, but it did not appear in there, Encarta Virtual Globe 1998 Edition in 1998, and Windows XP in 2001. If you want to play the music yourself on Windows XP, go to My Computer, and go to C:\Windows\System32\oobe\images, then look for a file that says "title.wma."
