Zodiac (film, 2007)

Описание

In the late sixties, San Francisco and its surrounding areas are gripped by fear of a mysterious killer calling himself the Zodiac: he not only attacks people, but also sends letters, ciphers, and mocking messages to newspapers, turning the investigation into an agonizing game of nerves for the police, journalists, and the entire city. Cartoonist Robert Graysmith, reporter Paul Avery, and inspectors Dave Toschi and William Armstrong gradually immerse themselves in a case where every clue promises a breakthrough, but leads instead to new doubts, mistakes, and obsessive fixation. The longer the search continues, the more the investigation destroys the personal lives of those trying to get closer to the truth. David Fincher’s crime thriller, based on true events and Robert Graysmith’s books, turns the story of a serial killer into a cold, tense study of fear, time, and people who cannot let go of an unsolved mystery.
