Описание

In this tutorial, I'll show you how to access a website running on your computer's localhost server from your mobile device. This is useful for testing web projects or viewing locally hosted content on your smartphone or tablet.
Step 1: Check Your Local IP Address
Step 2: Start a Local Web Server
Step 3: Accessing the Localhost Website on Mobile

Step 1: Check Your Local IP Address

On your computer, open a command prompt or terminal.
Type "ipconfig" on Windows or "ifconfig" on macOS/Linux and find your local IP address (IPv4 address).
Note down the IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.2).

Step 2: Start a Local Web Server

If you're not already running a web server on your computer, you can use tools like XAMPP, WAMP, or built-in HTTP server. Make sure your website is hosted on your localhost.

Step 3: Accessing the Localhost Website on Mobile

Connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
Open a mobile web browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari).
In the address bar, type the local IP address you noted earlier, followed by a colon and the port number used by your local server (e.g., http://192.168.1.2:8080).
Press Enter, and your mobile device should load the website hosted on your computer's localhost.

That's it! You can now access your localhost website on your mobile device for testing and development purposes.
