Something about the process of my musical musings...I get into my bass room and just listen...something usually comes to me and I play it into the looper. Then I go ahead and do my practice routine to begin my day. Afterwards, I listen back to the looper, and if I like it, I will re-record it (now freshly warmed up) and solo over it. It's all instantaneously improvised, the groove, the solo...even the facial expressions...
