Plot:
Described in a film magazine, Count Franz Maxmilian (played by Kerry), a carefree and irresponsible nobleman, is bound to the Austrian court of Emperor Francis Joseph (Vaverka). By the Emperor’s decree, he is engaged to Gisella (Wallace), the daughter of the Minister of War, a woman for whom he harbors no affection. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Agnes (Philbin), an innocent organ-grinder working in Vienna’s amusement park. Agnes represents a kind of womanhood unfamiliar to the Count, and he feels a profound attraction.

Despite his reluctance, the mandated union with Gisella takes place due to court formalities. Agnes, unaware of the Count's royal status, believes she has been abandoned. As war breaks out, the remorseful Count, burdened with sorrow, joins the front lines. During the conflict, his loveless royal spouse tragically passes away. Upon his return, the count decides to relinquish his title, choosing to marry the humble organ-grinder, Agnes.
